7 Restaurants to Try During Your Zion National Park Hotel Stay

One of the amenities that you’ll find at Zion Wildflower Resort is outdoor grills. These are great for grilling up a tasty lunch or dinner while enjoying the stunning views and a variety of other on-site amenities during your stay. But if you’re not in the mood to cook, you’re in luck; there are tons of restaurants located just a short drive from our resort!

Looking for the perfect place to dine during your stay at our Zion National Park hotel? Keep reading to learn a few of our local favorites.

1. Oscar’s Cafe

Located in nearby Springdale, just a short drive from your Zion National Park hotel, is Oscar’s Cafe. From the abode archway to the cozy outdoor seating area, this local favorite is hard to miss!

Oscar’s Cafe is a full-service restaurant. They’re open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On the breakfast menu, you’ll find a variety of classics, like pancakes, omelets, and oversize breakfast burritos. Lunch and dinner are a mix of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and Mexican cuisine. Many dishes can be made vegetarian, vegan, and/or gluten-free. This makes it easy for those with a variety of dietary restrictions to dine here.

2. Whiptail Grill

You’ll find plenty of Mexican food across Southern Utah. But if you’re looking for a delicious option near Springdale, Whiptail Grill is a great choice. This full-service restaurant serves up a variety of Mexican classics, as well as its own fresh, modern, greener takes on popular dishes. Try their Famous Goat Cheese Chile Relleno, Spaghetti Squash Enchiladas, or Sweet Pork Tacos. Everything is made fresh in-house daily.

While there’s room to dine inside this fun, casual restaurant, there’s also a large covered outdoor area that offers incredible views of Zion’s peaks in the distance. Whiptail Grill is open daily for lunch and dinner.

3. River Rock Roasting Co.

If you’re looking for a spot to get your caffeine fix or a quick, healthy lunch, head to River Rock Roasting Co. Perched on the edge of a basalt canyon in La Verkin, this small shop offers a variety of coffee drinks, beer, homemade baked goods, and a selection of breakfast and lunch options.

You’ll find all of your favorite drip coffee and espresso beverages on the menu, as well as smoothies and tea. If you’re hungry, grab a fresh baked good like orange rolls, caramel pecan sticky buns, scones, and more. They offer several breakfast sandwiches and burritos, and a larger lunch menu with options like cold and grilled sandwiches, burgers, salads, and even homemade pizzas. 

4. MeMe’s Cafe

Named for the cafe’s creator, Mechelle, who is affectionately called MeMe by family and friends, MeMe’s Cafe is located in the heart of Springdale. If you’re staying in lodging near Zion National Park, swing into the cafe for a delicious breakfast or hot, filling lunch and dinner.

At breakfast, you’ll find classics like platters and omelets on the menu. At lunch and dinner, burgers are a popular choice, but there’s also a variety of other sandwiches and salads to choose from. 

MeMe’s Cafe is also known for its delicious, homemade sweet and savory crepes. Grab a BBQ crepe, filled with slow-roasted pork, grilled onions, cheddar, and housemade BBQ sauce with a honey drizzle. Or, dig into a deliciously sweet dessert with Momma’s Favorite, which is filled with Nutella, bananas, chocolate drizzle, and powdered sugar, and topped with whipped cream.

5. King’s Landing Bistro

If you’re looking for a special place to enjoy a night out during your stay in our Zion National Park hotel, King’s Landing Bistro is always a good pick! Offering some of the best dining views near Zion, the upscale, homey restaurant offers a small selection of delicious, creative cuisine created by its two talented head chefs, Chef King and Chef Nguyen. 

There is a daily steak special, as well as their popular King Salmon, Pork Porterhouse, Roasted Chicken Breast, and a Vegan Chili & Cornbread option. Decadent starters like Fried Quail, Beef Tartar, and Spanish Charred Octopus are perfect for kicking off a special meal during your vacation. King’s Landing Bistro is open seasonally, closing from January 1 to March 1 each year. During the operating season, it is open for dinner only, starting at 5 p.m.

6. Camp Outpost Co. Zion

After a long day of hiking and exploring the many amenities and parks located a short drive from our Zion National Park hotel, you’re certain to work up an appetite. If you’re looking for some classic American comfort food, head to Camp Outpost Co. Zion.

Open daily for lunch and dinner, this casual spot features a nostalgic atmosphere. It’s known for its rotisserie options. You can order up a whole chicken, a half, or a quarter, as well as a variety of sandwiches, salads, burgers, fried shrimp, and more. It’s the perfect food for filling up after a day of hiking and exploring. 

7. Zion Pizza & Noodle

Another great spot to grab a bite to eat before heading back to your lodging near Zion National Park is Zion Pizza & Noodle. Located in a historic former Mormon church, the restaurant is known for its two namesake dishes; pizza and pasta. Meat eaters and vegetarians alike will find a variety of options. The ingredients are fresh and the recipes are simple but delicious. 

Pull up a chair at the shaded outdoor Beer Garden, and order up a round and some tasty food while you swap stories with friends and family about your adventures in Zion National Park.
